The Yorvic way, a long distance recreational path of some 65 miles encircling York, skirts the village to the west and the country roads around Holtby are excellent for cyclists, being relatively quiet and undulating. For the more adventurous though they will lead you to the steep slopes of the Yorkshire Wolds and Howardian Hills.

Stairs to the first floor lead you to a large beamed double bedroom with king size bed, and flat screen TV. A hair dryer is provided for your use.
